An update on MOB activity – Is anyone out there?

I have to say I am very proud of what SBB Columns has become but I have since moved on once again. A decent portfolio of client has allowed me to make some life changes I never thought might be possible, and my betting activity has gradually morphed into more trading than straight backing. I still make my selections based on runners I feel have a great chance of winning races although the overall daily shortlist is now whittled down by checking previous in play running and trading habits. A recent example of how things have changed is picking SLIP SLIDING AWAY as one of these trades on the 3rd September. I felt he was underestimated in the market and could even win, despite his...

Football: FA Cup – Swansea City v Arsenal – Sunday 6th 1.30pm (ESPN)

Wenger needs to turn round recent form against Swansea in the FA Cup Wenger will hope he can avoid another defeat to Swansea Arsene Wenger takes his Arsenal side down to the Liberty Stadium in Swansea knowing that the last twice his side have faced Michael Laudrup’s in the league, they have come away pointless. Football: FA Cup – Brighton & Hove Albion V Newcastle -12.30pm Saturday ITV

Can the underdogs emerge victorious at the AMEX Stadium and upset the Championship side? This will be far from an easy trip for Alan Pardew’s side despite an upturn in fortunes of late, and progress to the hat for the fourth round draw is far from certain. The Magpies were put out of the competition last season by the seagulls, and Brighton have won the last three meetings in the cup between the sides. Read the full article here>>> CLICK

Football: Champions League 2012/13 Groups A-D 2nd Round of Group Stage

October 3, 2012
By

Wednesday night Champions League action from groups A-D Tuesday provided a third consecutive Champions League night profit of 2.61pts on the night to add the the 8.19 already gained from week 1. The Bank stands at 10.80pts to the good going into Wednesdays games from Groups A to D   Champions League GROUP A Dynamo Kiev v Dinamo Zagreb Both of these sides lost their opening games and will need to be picking up points here if wanting to progress further from the group. Dynamo Kiev may well be the home side here but went down very tamely in France in their last UCL game by a 4-1 scoreline, the very same as the very next game they played in the Cup versus Shaktar Donetsk. They have now lost 3-1 AND 4-1 to Donetsk just this month. They meet a Zagreb side that have at least won their last two games...

Football: Champions League 2012/13 Groups E-H 2nd Round of Group Stage

September 30, 2012

Tuesday night Champions League action from groups E-H In the second round of Champions League group matches, it’s group E-H that go first on Tuesday night. There may have been a few perceived shocks in the first round of games for some. CFR Cluj would have been considered one of them winning in Portgual, but followers of this blog would have been collecting on the night as we tipped them up to do just what they did. BATE battered Lille at home, and before Lionel Messi worked his magic for Barcelona, there could have been the biggest shock of the first round with Spartak Moscow nearly getting all three points in Camp Nou. The second round may be approached with more caution. As usual I shall cast my eye over the games and see what opportunities I feel are worth getting involved with. The bank stand at 8.19pts to the good, mainly thanks...
